Hi wondered if anyone can help I have had a second tumour removed from my tongue my mouth area is very swollen has anyone had this and how long did it take before starting to look and normal again thanks .

Base of tongue cancer. T2N0M0 6 weeks Radiotherapy finished January 2019
My son has had cheek and jaw cancer. His mouth and tongue has been very swollen making it difficult for him to eat. You would be best to speak to your consultant or your macmillan nurse, they should be able to advise what you can do to help the swelling go down.
