Hi Bill ok if you got a clinic nurse assigned to you maybe give her a call ? Usually biopsies are taken and scans then teams meet up thus us a m d t meeting. Multi disciplinary team who discuss what steps ti take. Best advise I can give you is please keep off Dr Google it’s mostly unregulated information stay on here everyone will try to help.

Hi Bill and welcome from me. This stage of the unknown is really difficult and very stressful. When you have a full diagnosis and plan in place it does get a bit easier.
Is there anyone you can get to come with you to the appointments? Most hospitals will now allow someone to come along for the critical appointments as you've already figured out that the shock often precludes you taking it all in. Whatever you organise I suggest writing down your questions before you go into the appointment. Give a copy to your consultant then at least they know what they need to cover for you as well as whet they need to tell you. Good advice to speak to your named clinical nurse. They are real practical experts and are there to help you at each stage. Give them a call.
Other than that we will be here for you when you need us.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
