A little about myself. I am from USA but wanted to hear about how people in other countries cope and are treated. I’ve had side of tongue cancer twice and gingiva mandibular once. Inside back gum near floor of mouth. Surgery October 2021. No cancer found. Five weeks later white tissue in area lasered off. Verrucous hyperplasia. Never had that before. Now two months later more white tissue lasered and a tooth removed. Waiting for biopsy results but doctor was concerned it would show I need more floor of mouth surgery. I don’t know what I’ll do if it comes back cancer. I can’t go through surgery every five months. Has anyone ever had anything like this.
Lynne
Hello Lynne. I think you posted earlier to say hello?
Sorry to hear that you are having more problems.
There are a few people her who have coped with repeated surgery and I'm sure they will reply to you at some stage. I can't recall anybody with Verrucous hyperplasia though. It's quite rare, I gather.
Fingers crossed you don't need more treatment
Dani
