Hi
anyone on here experienced Salivary Gland cancer? my husband had 16 hour operation with 50 lymph nodes removed, 6 were effected. He's doing really well and healing good. Radiotherapy next. The cancer has all been removed which is good news, saw the consultant today but i am trying to stay strong for my husband, still anxious about the cancer journey and the future thank you
Hi Starfish and welcome.
I personally haven't had this cancer but there are fairly recent posts. If you look at the link I created you can scroll through and maybe post in those threads too.
Good news that the surgery has been successful. If your husband is having RT he will be in touch with his team every day but after that make sure you have the contact details for his Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Please stay off Google. the places for information and support are your husband's clinicians and folk on here
Stay with us and don't be reticent about asking questions. None are daft and there is always somebody here to help.
Best wishes
Dani
