Hi
I have my first post treatment scan on Friday and I’m obviously a little nervous about it. I just wondered how long people waited for the results. It’s the waiting and not knowing that I struggle with. Thanks
It is normal to be nervous. I was very concerned for no real reason. All was OK. I had my post scan appointment in the diary well before the scan was actually booked. Eventually I had the scan a week before the appointment and received the news of "complete metabolic response" at that appointment. Good news.
Hi Jako
I had mine on the Monday, saw ENT consultant on the Tuesday who was able to tell me all looked clear ( the images were sent directly to her on the same day) and the official report came back on the Friday.
It’s perfectly normal to feel nervous, it’s an anxious time.
Wishing you all the very best
