Hi,
Just wanted to share a little positivity for anyone currently struggling with treatment side effects or that has just finished treatment.
Im currently just over 2 months post treatment (6 weeks of radiotherapy and chemo base of tongue and lymph nodes) During my treatment and a few weeks after I really longed to be able to not just eat but enjoy food again.
Yesterday I went out for my first meal and really enjoyed a good steak at Miller and Carter. Not only could I eat it but it tasted incredible. I remember thinking during treatment I would be a really long time before I could do this but hang in there, it really doesn’t take long to start seeing improvements.
