18 months ago I had tors robotic surgery and neck dissection for small cell carcinoma in my tonsil bed. Everything been going fine.
3 weeks ago developed really sore throat on opposite side to surgery. Also noticed sore on side of tongue ( I have a chipped tooth I'm waiting to get sorted). Saw GP twice who advised me to speak to consultant at hospital. They got me in this morning. Consultant thinks pain is due to the sore on my tongue, as I had the normal nasoscope and he said my throat looked clear. Now facing another mri which I hate as I'm claustrophobic and another general anesthetic so they can get a biopsy. Dies this ever end!!!!!
Has anyone else had similar? Thanks for reading .
