My husband has just been diagnosed for the second time with SCC of the tongue , the first time was 14 yrs ago but the base of the tongue this time it’s towards the ,idle to left back of his tongue he’s been told he will have reconstruction' he’s had a CT and waiting for an MRI , has anyone else had this type of reconstruction operation and how long was recovery.
