i start radiotherapy monday on neck and throat had all my teeth removed can anyone help as i’m petrefied and my cancer nurse doesn’t reply to emails

  • Take a deep breath. It's a challenge but it's never as bad as we imagine

Have look at THIS THREAD on helpful tips for those about to start treatment.

You won't see much in the way of acute effects for a couple of weeks so try to relax into the treatment. You can do this a day a a time

Tell your radiographers that you are finding this unacceptable. They should pass the message on.

  • Hi!

This is a great group if you have questions about radiotherapy or side effects.

    It helped me immensely.

All the best for your treatment.
