Hello, me again. Sorry to keep bothering you about every new thing!
My husband has started week 4 of radiotherapy (tonsil cancer T4N1). Since his first bout of chemo he has tinnitus. The consultant recommends that he has his last bout as planned, however that will come with permanent tinnitus and some hearing loss. He doesn’t recommend changing to another drug (he’s on Cisplain) as he said combining them may not have required affect.
Of course the goal is to eradicate the cancer so he’s going to go with chemo. What I’d really like is some advice from anyone who’s gone through similar. I know everyone is different but how do you cope with tinnitus? Has it affected your life to a great extent? Thanks as always for your generosity in answering my questions xx
