Dry lips after radiotherapy!!

Hello Lizzie, mu hubby had very dry lips too,and the lack of saliva didn't help, he used whatever lip salve he got,it took a while, but lips starting to improve.

Have you tried La Roche Possay cicaplast lip balm?

I used it throughout treatment and never suffered with dry lips.  I’m now 12 weeks post treatment and use Laneige lip sleeping mask day and night.

Yes I do. It’s due to lack of saliva which explains why it’s much worse in the morning when I wake. I make my own lip salve with wax from my bees and organic oils

It's worth trying a beeswax based one like burts bees

Thanks - have tried Burts - one of them really hurt my lips - but have got another suggestion- so will give that a try!! XX

Unfortunately it's par for the course with most of us... coconut oil lip balm...cocoa butter lip therapy...Aloe Vera lip balm...peppermint ...many others... some worked better than others.
