Base of tongue 2 years clear , now got malignant cells in mass on neck

Should be mri scan .. my original diagnosis was T3 N2 MO, p16+ base of tongue stage X

Hi Coast Not the news any one wants to hear. A neck dissection could be offered along with immunotherapy which is having positive results for many. I’ve a friend who had mets to his lungs he had 2 years immunotherapy  and is now almost  3 years since his last immunotherapy and doing really well. 

once again it’s the waiting game for you try to keep busy and hope yiu aren’t waiting too long for answers.
