Keeping Rig in place

I had a PEG feeding tube...used a plastic clip and cord to keep it from moving...worked well.

Hello, my hubby taped his PEG to his skin to keep in place.

I tried that and it did not work for me.  Instead I used adhesive catheter patches (rather like a large plaster) which have a velcro tab to retain the tube.  Each lasted about a week of showering before they decided to detach from the skin.  As I was in treatment in the winter I wore a vest which also helped ensure I did not catch my clothes on the tube.

I had a PEG and I was prescribed adhesive patches they kept the tube in place. They were very good and I replaced them weekly but it seemed they would have lasted longer.

Good evening Peter, can i ask where you got these from as my abbott nurse never comes up with solutions like this, she sugested tape but in never worked as it just fell off. All the best.
