Hi
Have been for my PETCT scan results today and there is no trace of any cancer left.
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has given advice of the last few months since I joined this group.
To those that are starting on their journey, this group has been brilliant so if you have questions and concerns raise they and someone will always get back to you and give you the right advice on how to cope and suggestions to make things that little bit more easy whilst you go through the treatment which isn't easy and still isn't after.
My oncologist said to me earlier that it may take another 2 years before you feel sort of normal again, not only physically but also mentally, the latter being my problem at the moment, but your CNS's are there to help also, so don't worry about contacting them if your struggling, in their words "That's what they are there for".
Thanks again all
Lee
Well done Lee. That’s a big hurdle over. There will be others but that are pretty small in the grander scheme of things
