Hi everyone. I haven't been able to jump on here lately as much as I would like, but I continue to see so much support for one another in this community. You guys are amazing!
Just wanted to send along an update. I had my 2.5 year post-treatment check-up (CT Scan) recently, and met with my oncologist yesterday. I'm so thankful to relay that my results are good, and I am still in remission!!! This was an early birthday present, as I turn 47 next weekend!!
I know this treatment is hard, it's really difficult. Life hasn't been super easy since finishing chemoradiation 2.5 years ago. But, we keep going and we keep fighting!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! ~Tara
Hi Tara
Good to hear from you and how well you are.
My oncologist told me that once I got to two years I was pretty safe so fingers crossed
