Adam (perry)
Hello Perry, my husband is now a little over a year post treatment, and he had a follow up appointment today, everything is healing fine and he's doing great, just as you are feeling now, we have been there, once we had a treatment plan and everything was in place, it got a little easier,we knew where we where going from there. Keith had a PEG fitted prior treatment, just a little uncomfortable at first, but he soon got used to it and luckily he didn't have any problems, and like so many have said,it became a lifesaver at some point. The treatment itself wasn't too bad at first, but by week 3 it started to become painful to watch him suffer. But I couldn't think about the alternative. So on this note I wish you all the best for the rest of your journey. Think positive and stay strong. It's gonna be tough, but doable. Stay on this side, there is always someone here to listen and support. Fellow wife Mel x
