Start RT last Monday, chemotherapy Tuesday and had peg fitted Wednesday. The peg has already used to put water down to hydrate because it feels when I take a drink it hurts further down my throat towards stomach are, might be just reflux or something but really unpleasant.
the peg is really painful at the mo, but will know it will be worth it in the end. Was given codeine yesterday so hopefully that will kick in soon and take the pain away of sorts.

Keep going. These things take time to settle. Are you taking laxatives? We usually get Movicol or Laxido. They are absolutely necessary if you are taking opiates.

I managed with two laxido a day all the way through. No constipation at all.
