Its 1 whole year since I was told i had 2 sft's in my neck.....after many many trips back n to to brum - biopsy etc was told by consultant - don't worry its not cancer, its like you had in 2009!
Further down the line now and still no op to remove even though they have got bigger,op cancelled day before due to lack of itu bed,so had up to date mri and ct which showed up 3 things in my lungs,Op had been pencilled in for this weds, not a chance... had to get consultant and plastics together on agreed date - BIG Spanner in works now because of lung, waiting since 22nd dec for other doc to do a biopsy on lung, everyday is taking forever! Waiting fir post and phone calls or email...nothing!
Any advice?
You could ask PALS to escalate a complaint?

I dont like to complain in case im set to the back of he queue.... I understand my consultant is obviously checking whats what before he decides how radical the surgery could be..and I know im not the only patient in a very busy hospital.....
Just need a bit of an update - im upset also that ive heard nothing at all from my G.p to see how im getting on..

That won’t happen. PALS doesn’t just deal with complaints but can help where there are communication problems.
