My husband has just been diagnosed with lung mets . He received treatment chemo radiation 3 years ago (T4aN2cm0)
he also developed scc on the his right side of his neck last year which was removed . Now a tumour in his right lung which they are unable to biopsy, but they have biopsied the lymphnode R11 and it is positive for P16 so it’s not a new cancer but has spread from the original so stage 4.
the lung dr has said he won’t be curative but may have treatment to manage symptoms and prolong his life.
awaiting the MDT to see what they will offer .
