I got another biopsy on wednesday the 15 of October at 8 in morning and I was on morpine for the 2 days in hospital all was well when a was discharged on Thursday t time the gave me dihydrocodeine and paracetamol but the pain was to much so I phoned 111 to ask if a could get more pain relief cause what I have isn't helping so he gave me a prescription for naproxen take 2 a day but my throat is still sore if anything the naproxen isn't even helping as much as the dihydrocodeine and paracetamol was but I don't want to be a pest and ask if there anything else a could get for the pain or will I just have to put up with it till it heals this is the 9th day and in morning a can hardly swallow thanks for listening
Good evening, you should not be suffering with too much pain so i would sugest you get in touch with your dr and ask for something stronger, i remember after had i a biopsy it was so painful they put me on pain patches along with oxy-codone for a couple of months until the painbecome more bearable. If its really bad then please get in tough with the hospital so they can prescribe somthing stronger, sometimes its about finding the right painkiller for the right condition or what suits the patient.
