Hi
Did anyone use a special pillow during treatment? My 23yo nephew is about to start chemo & RT (brain tumour) and we are looking for anything that might ease his journey. I didn’t use one myself so looking for recommendations.
Thanks, Lisa
I had a foam wedge pillow which I have found very useful when recovering from surgery and during/post CRT. Depending on what way around it was configured it gave varying degrees of slope.
I also purchased and used extensively a small half round pillow to go under my knees so that when sleeping on my back my knee joints were given some respite. This is similar to the pillow found on MRI/CT machines for the same reason.
Hi Lisa. Like Peter I bought a foam wedge as I had to sleep fairly upright for a while. It helped a lot. I bought it at a local store that sold foam products. No point giving you the name as I live in Australia. You could buy online if no store near where you live. I still sleep using a U pillow as it is not as high as the foam wedge but gives me that slight incline I need to raise my head up a bit.

The pillow came from John Lewis - they no longer sell it but I am sure Amazon have them in all shapes and sizes.
