    Pembro is already used in the palliative setting. This is talking about first line treatment and that’s where NICE approval is being sought.

  • Just asking as this type of treatment got mentioned before my husband started his treatment,well, one consultant thought my hubby would be the right candidate for it, but another said I won't. So I am wondering who eventually will qualify.

    Stage 3 cancers I believe. Stages 1 and 2 respond perfectly well to standard RT and CRT but I’ll look up the trial details

  • Hi Dani,what is Keynote 048 please? I guess I will have an eye on how this new therapy will progress, my husband is currently 5mths ish post treatment from T4N3M0,I would like to say he's doing well, our next appointment with our consultant is still to be confirmed. But thank you for all your good advise. Mel x

  • Great to hear that this treatment is showing positive results, i have heard of it before during the trials, so hopefully it will be approved a.s.a.p Hoping we all had a good weekend with plenty of sun, all the best.
