Hi everyone, just a quick question, 20 weeks + post treatment and my tongue and throat seem more oversensitive on the side where most treatment was .the other side seems normal apart from lack of saliva. Is this something I'll have to live with or will it eventually settle down? Do you get used to the changes to one side of the tongue / throat might have ? It's like maybe a nerve damage thing, I'm guessing !
Cheers Mark
Hi Mark for me there is always a discrepancy on the treated side. For a start my tongue is quite smooth and devoid of the normal papillae. I do get tingling burning on that side sometimes but it isn’t constant and doesn’t bother me.

Hi Mark
I think it will eventually settle down to a state whereby you really don't notice it. My tongue is similar and in my case it feels slightly tight and stressed. It is similar with my throat. I don't really notice it any longer - it is part of the new me.
