Post radiotherapy pain?

Hi JDCC, it does sound pretty normal, after the onslaught your throat gets with the RT, it does take a good while before it gets anywhere near back to normal. If you have got a checkup coming up tell them about it, if not and you are worried, give them a call.

Pain in the mouth/throat area does take a while to settle for most, usually helped by difflam and co-codamol.

Get your GP or your hospital to check you for thrush. This is really common after ending treatment and doesn’t always present as white areas.
