I started this treatment yesterday which I will be having every week for sixteen weeks. Unfortunately it didn’t go to plan as after about 5 mins I had severe pain in my back and became really unwell. They have decided to slow down the treatment to 2 hours instead of one and this time I will take steroids prior to the treatment starting. Has anybody else had this kind of reaction.

main side effects from hormone treatment are hot flush especially at night which causes restless sleep patterns. I'm getting alot of indigestion from all the meds but I've got a phone appointment with doctors tomorrow so I'm going to ask for some stomach liners if I'm allowed them. I'm not having to much trouble with the chemotherapy at the moment mainly headaches and aching muscles but I have found out I'm only receiving 75% strength chemo due to my liver count being poor. my chemo is every 21 days so you may experience different things. regards dale
