My partner is 10 months post radiation and chemo for tonsil cancer, he has great difficulty swallowing, he still gets peg fed, he tries to eat normally but struggles with foods that aren’t soft.
he is being sent to speech and language therapy once again, do you think it will get better through time?
Hi. He has a chance if he does the exercises religiously and he hasn’t got a stenosis in his throat
Chris Curtis from the swallows peg fed for a long time longer than your partner but he can eat ok now.

Stage 2 tonsil cancer----2 years since radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment finished, I can eat most things as long as I have plenty of liquids to accompany, no longer use PEG for feeding, my speech sounds OK to me but on some days others think it is a little weak and lispy.
