hello everyone. Nothing lit up on his scan. Said only scans needed for now are chest scan due yearly due to him being former smoker
no more ct or pet scan needed for the head/ neck area.

Thank you! Dr said to keep them informed of any changes but they dont like to use the word cured but the goal is curative treatment and that’s what’s results say now. He’s just got to be checked once a year for his ct scan because of prior smoking history.
Hi none of us get the word cured or cancer free it’s not like the movies. But curative is the win and we all settle for that. Now it’s time to start living again.

dont like to use the word cured
That’s pretty standard for any cancer. Even after five years we become part of the “cured” statistic and are discharged from routine review but remain on the books.
