So yesterday I was all set for my trachi op and debulking
arrived at hospital with husband and daughter
checkin was 12.30
all sorted and still terrified
was told consultant would come and see me
thought common practice
he went on to say I need a private room where are your family
my heart sank
another change of plan whilst all the time I am getting so so poorly
Well wanted to let you know scan came back I said we were told all fine last week
no it’s not fine been meaning to speak to you
radiotherapy off the table now as markers on lungs
No longer curative won’t risk side effects
only immuno left
no apps for 2 weeks
outlook poor
sent home and told
if you can’t breath call 999 and we can do an emergency trachi
