Have any of you w the p16 dx not had a good outcome or not s clear post scan??
I had a hotspot on PET which really p***ed me off but the area was biopsied and it was clean. It was a worrying month. These avid scans are not uncommon.
There are people here on immunotherapy where the cancer has either recurred or spread after initial treatment. But only a few.

We’ve talked about this already. I have two. Same thing. No increase in size. They are really common and due to some prior chest infection.
Not malignant and not likely to become so.
They said it’s a good prognosis good cure rate.
Please try to believe them. They won’t lie to you and they are usually right. Remember they do this every day and they are good at it.

Hi please try to stop worrying you can’t change the outcome but you can make yourself ill. HPV driven tumours respond well to treatment I’m here 7 years later I had tumour in my tonsil, with spread to anterior wall of tonsil and soft palate added to mix 7 lymph nodes . I waited 18 weeks for my pet ct scan I knew that on day I started treatment oncologist wouldn’t scan any earlier. I finished treatment 8 weeks later flew to Spain had Christmas at home. I trusted my treatment and I didn’t worry that’s me I’m a glass half full girl.
The cure rate is in excess if 90% so I took those odds as being positive yes I know a few who have had reoccurrences and treated with immunotherapy whi are still living a great life.
I also know a couple who sadly have died, but they have also had other co morbidities.
so,please try to stop worrying you’ll make yourself ill or drive yourself round the bend.

Well that’s something to concentrate your energy and talents. Don’t let him start again. It’s a good reason for nagging him. Hugs
