Honestly wish i could get someone to see the state of my throat, this this is getting bigger i can feel it like a chocking lump, looks more veiny & my whole throat now looks a mess, both glads on left & right keep swelling right up under my jaw with a nice ear ache, mentally i can't switch off i thought i was doing well, never seen anything like this, it's bad enough seeing it just took photos to prove im not mad but i can feel it like a new potato sitting in my throat..  Arrgggg!!

Had a private MRI can't get them to send the results to my GP quick enough & the gp said might not even have time to read it, NHS MRI booked for next friday, in a week it's changed so much already, feel a bit helpless & massively stressed out.

Sorry rant out but i don't feel like im coping today, tried being outside & i just feel poo

  • I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling so much today. The worry just becomes overwhelming and dominates your mind.

I'm having one of those days today when I'm constantly aware of the lump I have and feeling every little ache or pain I get is related. A friend of mine recommended  the headspace app. She found it very useful for calming her mind when she was going through a health scare herself. I'm going to give it a go later. Maybe something like that could give you a bit of respite too.

I'm sorry I don't have any other help but I'm thinking of you and hope the results of your MRI give you some reassurance.

That is absurd. Your GP won’t have time to read a few lines of the report and let you know what it says? What on earth is keeping him so busy from patients? Paperwork?!!!!
