How has anyone managed a trachi with radiotherapy and side effects

Hi sorry can’t help but hopefully someone can. The radiotherapy team will help all they can. Where are you being treated if you want to say. I was at Leeds cancer centre.

Have you had the tracheostomy yet they normally wait until the radiotherapy side effects have died down before they operate but it should not affect you that much. I always found it best to take things a day at a time and not keep thinking about what lies ahead otherwise your anxiety will get worse. I went through a lot of surgery and just accepted that it has to be done to make my life better, of course, i was worried but i never let life i just carried on the best i could .
