Had peg fitted monday
one of the stitches has come out today
is this normal
I was due to have them out on Tuesday
I had a PEG but didn't have any stitches..? .. (apart from a few I had after the first failed attempt).
I also had a PEG . ..no stitches.... couple of infections though...
It’s a push peg with 2 sutures

How did infection start
Infection started at the insertion site, pretty commonplace.... cleared up with antibiotics and creams.... cleaning the site properly is imperative.... you should have a method sheet
Hi Spencerbear, it would be best to give your team a ring, to see what they say about it, they might send the district nurse round to check it out.
