i wanted to know if this was the norm

Have you signed your consent forms? If not, then that's what it most likely will be... they'll will go through your treatment plan, and you'll sign the forms.. so, be prepared with any questions you may have..

No but then I had done all the formalities weeks beforehand. It may as Loz suggests be more paperwork. Maybe ring back to ask? 

All forms signed a few weeks ago
