At the end of week two, I’ve been hit with the first ulcers on the side of my tongue. All of a sudden, eating became almost impossible yesterday. Today, for the first time, I used Gelclair and just wanted to say what a fantastic help this is!
I didn’t realise that it coats the mouth and ‘seals’ the sores. So I’m just posting this info for anyone coming along behind me - get hold of this stuff as soon as you get sore (or beforehand if your hospital will prescribe it!)
I’ve managed to eat all my meals today (albeit soft ones, but stil…..!). I really hope it continues to be as effective when more sores appear.
Yes, sachets which contain the gel

Great to hear. I must say they did nothing for me but I’m so pleased they are helping you.

Oh isn’t it weird! It’s like the Oralieve for dry mouth - so many people got on well with it, but it didn’t do anything for me! Just goes to show how everyone is so different x
