Hi everyone,
So went to see speech therapist today and she spotted swelling at the front of my neck , called in my CNS just to confirm it was Lymphedema, so have been put on waiting list to go to the clinic.
In the meantime is there anyone out there who have had this diagnosis and got some ideas to keep it at bay ? Many thanks
Mark

Base of tongue cancer. T2N0M0 6 weeks Radiotherapy finished January 2019
I recognised that I had this and was seen very quickly. Advised on how to do self drainage massage and that worked remarkably well coupled with a compression neck gaiter. I still get some trouble nowadays and will often be found sitting in a meeting or a restaurant doing the self massage - it is easy to do and relatively inconspicuous.
