Hello mortigger
My name is Steph, I am part of the team who look after the Online Community here at Macmillan.
I hope you don't mind me popping in here, I just noticed how frightened and confused you're feeling and want to make sure you have the right support in place.
Please do give our Support Line team a call, they're open until 8pm. Whenever you're feeling worried, our Support Line teams are available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00, email or live webchat.
It does sound like you would benefit from talking this through with a professional.
Do you think you might give them a call, mortigger?
There is somebody there now. Speaking to somebody today might just let you relax enough to get a good nights sleep.

Hi mortigger
The Support Line is available on email or live webchat until 8pm, please do reach out as there is lots of support available for you.
Good evening mortigger, please do not apologise we all know how difficult and confusing this can all be, we are always here to try and help and reassure people because we have been there ourselves but with different concerns and worries. In my experience with cancer or the symptoms of cancer getting it checked out is the best option and this is why they do biopsies and scans so it gives you and your Dr reassurance. Please do not get frightened as you will be well looked after with the best care and help, the waiting can be the worst part so hopefully you can keep your mind occupied with other things as it will help pass the time. Hope you manage to get the help and advice you need, take care.
