It's maybe a tired old cliche but honestly just take each day as it comes, and you will get through it.
For sure it's tough - only a liar or somebody who hasn't been through it would say it's not. However, as people have pointed out on here everybody reacts differently to the treatment and there's nothing to say you won't be one of the luckier ones.
Couple of times from Week 4 onwards I started to contemplate not going, but then remembered I wasn't just fighting for me it was for friends and family too and I managed to get through it.
Remember the cure rate for our cancer is very high. Looking back on it all now, as bad as some of it was, it was really a very small price to pay to be free of it (which I'll hopefully find out soon that I am !)
Keep in touch with these forums as you go through. I wish I'd known about them earlier in my treatment as they have been a great source of comfort. Full of very positive, and brave people.
