After my radiation therapy I have some nerve pain just wondering if people have had similar? If you did does it go away or get less intense? I’m waiting to see oncologist and care team but it’s been 10 weeks of pain and when it hits me I can’t even stand up.
No I didn’t, thankfully
Do I remember correctly? You had 7 weeks of RT?
Where is the pain?

It radiates from just under my lower left jaw line shoots up into the inner ear area. Yes 7 weeks mon to Fri. They just keep giving me stronger or more specialised kind of pain meds and I’m starting to think this is going to be permanent it’s taken 10 weeks of pain to get to this point as I was fobbed off with “you’re doing to much”.
I’m not a medic but I do know that ordinary analgesics do not touch neuropathic while other drugs do. Don’t wait for your routine review but call your CNS.

I had a very similar pain where it shot up my inner ear but once the correct painkillers were prescribed it became more comfortable, this should not be a permanent issue. It never affected me standing up though, maybe Dani is right in contacting your nurse . Take care.
