Hello everyone,
I’ve had a feeling of something stuck in my throat for 2 months now. I had a scope done 2 weeks ago. The ENT consultant wrote saying “vocal cord leukoplakia.” I’m due for a biopsy in 2 weeks.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You probably know already that Leukoplakia MAY lead to cancer so obviously they are checking for that. I have a friend who had the very same and he was treated with laser to remove it as it wasn't yet malignant.

It's a worry, the not knowing and the waiting. Fingers crossed all will be OK I had the same, a feeling of something in the throat, but also a hoarseness of the voice for some time, which I took no notice of as there was no pain, until a lymph node came up on my neck, which made me see a doctor.
I have had a tonsillectomy (as they did find cancer on my left tonsil) and they have seen something on my lymph node, so I am seeing about possible surgery for that tomorrow. Hopefully, as you have only had the feeling of something in your throat and no other symptoms all will be well with you.
