Hi All,

Hope you are all doing ok?

I have had my 2nd Cisplatin Chemo treatment and was given Dexamethasone 2mg Tablets 2x twice a day for 3 days.

First lot were absolutely fine, but on 2nd treatment and they are giving me terrible heartburn and burping has anyone else experienced this and also finding it hard to wind down and get good sleep.

Hope you can help and advise.

Hi, I don't remember having heartburn from them, but they will trigger insomnia if taken too late in the day.. I used to take mine around midday, but still had a somewhat restless sleep at times..

Hi Sarah

Hiccups and restlessness were problematic for me.... especially after Dexamethasone..... sucking ice helped the hiccups, had to go on a short course of low dose sleeping tablets to help me nod off at night

Thankyou Peter,

I'm not going to take them nearer bed, early morning and afternoon so it gives them time to settle before bedtime.

I've been drinking very cold water and that has helped.
