good afternoon I’ve been give a bag full  of Fortisip. Now do I drink enough to make up 2000  calories which would be 8 a day.  

  • Yes. Though you need more calories than that 2K I was told 2.5K and I’m a 55kg girl.

  • I’ve lost 4kg in review she said I was a big lad and could afford it.  I really am 1.88  118 kg rugby player 

  • Good evening Paulmc, i have a similar but mine is Ensure Compact which is smaller bottles, i was prescribed 7 a day but mine is through a feeding tube so you will be fine with 8 a day, good luck.

  • That’s interesting Dani. I’m 58kg and my dietitian has me on 2000 calories and most days I’m about 100 calories less and I’ve not lost weight. I doubt I could consume 2500 a day. I’d be at it all day   

  • I couldn’t either. I was pump fed overnight and I rarely finished a litre bottle, more like half to three quarters. That’s 1000 to 1500 calories. I lost a little but not much.
