The units are supplied by Thor and they actually have some out on loan rather than trusts having to buy them.

anything to help with the horrid mucus
What it helps some people with is the condition called mucositis which is the inflammation and ulceration that radiotherapy causes. Saliva is made up of two portions; a watery part and a slippery mucous part. RT damages salivary glands and we lose the watery part of the saliva which then becomes thick and immovable till we recover.
