So went to GP with a horse voice I’d had for two weeks, Two week referral sent saw my first consultant three days later. 10 days after that had surgery. To remove growth from vocal cord. 3 days CT scan 7 days second meeting with consultant. Growth is cancerous T1 NO. Next day meeting with ENT consultant and oncologist. Teeth x rays. Bloods. McMillan pack. Tomorrow Dental review. Friday mask fitting. Phew worn out.
Hi hazel i was more concerned about having extractions than the upcoming treatment , i suppose that might change lol
So was I Treatment is hard I can’t lie but I was 61 and I did it. Just take it one day at a time and dont look too far in advance. You’ll get there tell your team any issues they are your daily point of contact. plus we on here will always try to help
