Hi
I was wondering if anyone had managed to go abroad for a holiday in between immunotherapy treatments
I've raised it with the nurse I was allocated this morning at my bloods appointment & they seemed surprised I was considering a holiday. I feel well at the moment and am active and mobile
Any advice appreciated.
Not me but if you’re well then do it. Not abroad though as you won’t get Insurance?

I wouldn't go abroad if I was you, however a holiday in the UK seems fine, if you feel well enough. If you really want to go abroad, you will have trouble getting insurance, like Dani says. You could try Insurancewith, they are very good with those of us who have got or had cancer.
Regards Ray.
I've been ringing around & have found a few places who will insure - even with my poor prognosis. It will be costly £400 plus for a week but worth it to get a holiday that I really need and want! so going to go for it. I feel well enough to be able to do a holiday so am going to go for it.
Thank you Ray. Thinking of going to Italy. there are some good suggestions on this forum of different companies who offer insurance to terminal/palliative patients & have now found some even cheaper quotes.
Some people on here have been to Canada and USA - at stage 4 - not go ng to venture that far, but feel well enough and still able to manage a week relaxing in Italy - though my prognosis is not great - I'm feeling well.
My late brother had a massive collection of vintage bikes about 22 in total - they were his life's passion
Hi you can try staysure or insure with.com. I would go if I felt well enough to ,but I used to work in travel over 35 years so I’m all for travelling.
