Hello
Thank you for replying. It is all over his body. The nurse gave him E45 cream and a course of anti hystimene tablets. Nothing is working though, day 3 of rash and very itchy not getting better.?! He thinks it’s washing powder but am not so sure.
Hi Cala sorry I didn’t have a rash although a few others have over the years.

Hi Cala. I had a very irritating rash all over my body sometime after treatment ended. It drove me mad! The only thing that soothed it was a very hot shower but unbeknown to me that was making it worse. My gp told me to take much cooler showers, so I did and within about ten days it’d improved a lot. I don’t know whether chemo/radio accelerates changes in our skin but as we get older, apparently, our skin becomes much less oily so easily dries which can cause itching. From one who used to enjoy almost scalding hot showers I now take them just warm - which saves on gas too! It might be worth a try. Hope it clears up soon as I know just how maddening it can be.
