Immunotherapy treatment

Hi harvest moon. I’m told the side effects of immunotherapy are nit as pernicious as cisplatin chemo. I have a friend whose husband is on it. I’ll ask her to pop on to the community

My Husband has had 3 of his 6 immunotherapy Infusions although he is on Durvolab  we were told of all the different side effects but up to present as far as we know he has not had any.

The possitive side of the Trial that he is on (Compare) is that he has a review with the whole team every month so everything is well explained if you need it.

Good evening Harvest Moon, most people are wary of side affects from cancer treatment but the list is so long and most of them are so rare and because maybe one person mentioned it they have to add it to the list. I did not have immunotherapy I had radio and chemo and all I got was the main /common side effects, but the list I was given went on forever and my consultant said the chances of me having most of them were very remote. I understand your concerns but I always find it's never as bad as we imagine, wishing you all the very best with your treatment next week, good luck, take care.
