Nasal Squamous Cell Cancer
Hi Everyone
Not been on here for a while. Had my physical examination, after waiting a year, as it kept getting cancelled. It has healed so well. He said it looks so clean. I said not surprised it never stops running.
No sign of cancer so got the all clear. Such a relief. I did have a narrowing on right hand side and it has cleared so I can breathe better now. Don't know what he did as had my eyes shut but it worked.
He is seeing me again in 2 months time. I am feeling pretty positive and not going to worry about it returning in the near future. If it happens so be it. I am in a better position to deal with it. Still get mucus and sore throat at times but I can live with that.
Hope everyone is coping well and I will continue to follow your stories. I would like to say thank you to everyone on here that helped me so much after my ops and helped towards my recovery by keeping my spirits up. I have now been referred to Salford Royal waiting list for my prosthetic. I will prob be waiting a while as they are hammered at the moment. Oh well no rush. Everyone is coming to terms with the way I look and I don't feel that self conscious anymore.
