Capox chemo - starting soon

I did have Capox to start but had a lot of problems so everything got changed around a lot so my experience probably wouldn’t be helpful to hear about . Just to say everyone is different and some people have very few side effects and others like me have a lot of problems .

Oxaliplatin causes extreme cold sensitivity so watch out for that - even touching Luke warm water is painful . I had really bad sickness so max out on the anti emitics. If you’re having oxaliplatin via IV as one infusion and then Capecitabine tablets most people seem to say that once the oxaliplatin has worked its way out things are a little easier.

My only comment as I'm quite new here is to eat small amounts regularly. I find an empty tummy on this and I can feel a bit nauseous. Even a couple of biscuits helps! X
