Hi all my husband was diagnosed with a UT1b n1 adenocarcinoma and has just finished four rounds of FLOT. He coped well with the chemo apart from now he has neuropathy and his skin on his hands has gone black and is peeling. We have just learnt following a CT scan that the tumour has thickened and another suspious lymph node has been discovered near the stomach in addition to the two we knew were there. He now has to have another PET scan and brain scan and then another staging laparoscopy to decide if the surgery he has pencilled in can go ahead. Has anyone here experienced any of this on their journey this is not what we expected how can it have all got worse following the chemo
