Hi
My husband had his chemotherapy at The Christie and he is still under the care of his wonderful medical team at Salford Royal Hospital .He will be three years post surgery on the 14th December and three years post treatment in March .He is now 67 .
As you’ve said lots of ups and downs over the last three years but a positive mindset does help massively. Life may be different but thankfully it goes on regardless .
Long May it continue !
Best wishes
J
Thanks for that uplifting message. My husband has only just been diagnosed and has only had a CT scan and biopsy. So very early days. He is 76 and pretty fit though is currently in remission with CLL so what impact that will have on this , who knows. I’m hanging on to every positive story like yours that adds a smidgin of hope. Trying not to yo yo from hope to despair. My thoughts and best wishes are with anyone in the same situation.
